Founded in 1870, Brown-Forman is the manufacturer of several renowned American alcohol brands, most notably Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey. This includes Herradura Tequila, Old Forester Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, and El Jimador Tequila. The organization continues to acquire brands around the world, employing 4,500 people worldwide and encompassing 25+ brands in more than 170 countries.
Brown-Forman runs its core system in an SAP environment, which is typical of an enterprise of this size. In addition to running distillery and bottling facilities, Brown-Forman decided decades ago to also run mills and cooperages to assemble these barrels, which are an essential element in developing the distinct taste and quality of their product.
